Azione Unlimited Elects Three New Board Members
Azione Unlimited (AU), the education/buying group for integrators and custom retailers, is pleased to announce that three new board members have been elected. Consistent with the AU philosophy that, “we’re all in this together” both dealers and vendors are members.
The Azione advisory board is made up of five dealers and five vendors. The new vendor member is Ryan Donaher of Meridian. He joins fellow vendor board members: Keith Haas, of Integra; Jason Sloan, of Sonance; George Walter, of Christie; and Eric Bodley, of Future Ready Solutions. The two dealers elected to the board are: Jason Voorhees, of Cantara Designs; and Dennis Jaques, of Maverick Integration. They are joined on the board by fellow dealers: Kim Michaels, of Electronic Environments; Don Dixon, of Definitive Electronics; and Kevin Lambidonis, of DES.
“Surrounding yourself with smart people is a recipe for success. We continue to learn, share, and grow with the aid of astute mentors. We welcome Jason, Dennis, and Ryan.”
– Richard Glikes, president of Azione Unlimited
Ryan Donaher commented, “Azione Unlimited is a distinctive resource for the custom electronics installation industry; the members (resellers and vendors) represent the very best of the business. Collectively we pool our knowledge, ideas, and business to better represent what we all believe our industry is about. This is a group that I am very proud to contribute to, and I am honored to be more involved”.
“I’m very excited by be joining the Azione Board. Cantara has seen significant benefit not just in purchasing, but in strategy and process improvement over our two years as member, and I hope to further that for all. The next few years look very promising as we grow in numbers and provide even more value and benefits to the dealer and manufacturer members,” stated Jason Voorhees.
In typical Dennis Jaques fashion, he remarked with a George Bernard Shaw quote, “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”
