Azione Storms into 2021 With Awards, Updated Conference Roadmap + More
Chester Springs, PA – March 3, 2021 – After posting a record back half of 2020, Azione Unlimited, the Smart Home Association™, is roaring into 2021 with member awards, an updated conference roadmap, and its year-long mantra, ‘Better Than Best.’
“It’s hard to believe that just one year ago, we were bracing for impact as we shifted to helping our members navigate PPP loans, cash flow forecasting, employee management, and the many other unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19,” said Richard Glikes, President of Azione Unlimited. “2020 ended on a high-note for Azione Unlimited members. Our members’ resiliency and endurance inspire us to continue business moving forward. Although we want to continue that momentum into 2021, we are extremely excited about what we have in store for our members.”
‘Better Than Best’ is Azione Unlimited’s slogan for 2021. It signifies the Smart Home Association’s drive to stand-out as thought leaders in the Custom Integration industry, providing deeper value for its members, and making them more profitable. Inspiration for this slogan comes from a quote from Lebron James – ““Everywhere I’ve been, I’ve been the best player. I love being a leader, and I love being the best. I just want to get better.”

Celebrating fantastic growth in a troubled year, Azione Unlimited is proud to acknowledge 10 of its members with “Monstrous Growth” awards. Five vendors were awarded year-over-year growth of 30% or more, four dealers were awarded a “Business Doubler” award, and one was awarded a “Business Tripler” award.

Conference Roadmap and Initiatives
Concluding its first-ever winter conference, Azione Unlimited recently wrapped up its virtual, two-day February ‘Interesting Interlude’ and will soon open registration for the ‘Expedient Exposition’ in late April. Virtual conferences have been a massive success in keeping dialogue, education, and community together during times of social distancing.
“I greatly appreciate the work the Azione team puts into the organization of this conference,” said Anthony Lobo of Definitive Sound in Ontario. “It’s a nice change of pace from the typical conference topics.”
“I enjoyed that this conference got my ‘business-owner brain’ going again,” added Mark Midyett of DFA Solutions in Tennessee. “I thought the timing of events was great for a virtual meeting like this.”
Each virtual conference is divided into elements of roundtable-style workshops, keynotes, and crowd-favorite speed networking. Speed networking is a roulette-style meeting with a random match between dealers and vendors for a brief 5-minute conversation. These lightning-round interactions have led to new relationships and fresh dialogue between members.
